About the Authors Joseph D. Lane is a principal attorney with Lane & Rusu, Co., L.P.A. in Canfield, Ohio-a law firm concentrating in the area of probate, estate planning and elder law. A member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Ohio Bar Association and Mahoning and Trumbull Bar Association, he has nearly 20 years' experience in the legal profession. He is also a licensed funeral director and vice president of both Lane Funeral Homes Inc. and Lane LifeTRANS Paramedic Ambulance. Also a partner with Lane & Rusu, Co., L.P.A., Robert N. Rusu has not only been a practicing attorney for nearly ten years but holds a funeral director's license as well. His memberships include the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Ohio Bar Association and Mahoning and Trumbull Bar Association. Attorney Rusu also lectures extensively on estate planning, wills, advance directives, Medicaid, probate and elder law. Dennis A. Hawkins, Sr. has a twenty-five year background in sales, sales training and sales management, as well as being affiliated with Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. and its subsidiary, Ohio Access to Justice, Inc.
